I have been a "just one more chapter" reader since childhood, staying up late with books like the Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine and Support Your Local Wizard by Diane Duane. That lifelong habit of lost sleep and full bookshelves has never really stopped.
In the summer of 2023 a childhood friend introduced me to LitRPG, and it was game over (in the best possible way). The blend of story, stats, and progression hooked me instantly.
In Other Worlds was born from that obsession. It's a way for me to highlight the authors and narrators that I love, champion a genre that still flies under the radar (but not for much longer), and help more readers discover the same stories that have brought me joy.
